Vanessa Chan is currently vice dean of innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering. Chan previously served as the chief commercialization officer at the U.S. Department of Energy. Under her leadership, the department created a series of reports that provided a roadmap for decarbonization.
